CT Jib / Headsail Battens
Carbon, inflatable and flexible jib / headsail battens

CTL jib batten (hollow carbon)

CT hollow carbon leech battens can be used in both mainsails and jibs. Suitable for any size and type of yacht from 50ft upwards, CT jib battens are available in both the CT22 and CT33S size ranges.

The CT jib batten has the same rectangular, hollow tapered profile as the full length batten. Pure s-glass is used at the tip, blending out to pure carbon at the leech. This allows the batten to retain stiffness at the leech and yet be flexible at the tip.

CT Airbatten - inflatable headsail batten

The CT AirBatten was designed to meet the need for an unbreakable batten in over-lapping headsails. The CT Airbatten is an air pressurised batten that is unbreakable, fatigue resistant and able to be furled (when deflated).

Successfully race tested on superyachts and in the 2007 America's Cup the CT AirBatten has potential to be used on all type of yachts. Development of an airline system allows CT AirBattens to be inflated and deflated while sailing (racing). This makes CT AirBattens suitable for use with furling headsails.

CT FlexiFurl - flexible headsail batten

The CT FlexiFurl is a low-cost, flexible headsail batten for use with furling headsails. It is ideal for cruiser-racers where headsail shape is important, but so too is the convenience of having a furling jib.

The light-weight, flexible nature of the CT FlexiFurl means it will not break and cause damage to the sail. The product is provided in standard lengths so it is easy to fit.
