CT33 Carbon Battens Full-length battens for yachts 30ft - 90ft
CT33 battens are manufactured entirely from prepreg carbon fibre. Lightweight and strong, the CT33 batten is the CT Sailbattens market leader. Every current America’s Cup team uses CT33 battens in their mainsails.
A range of mandrel sizes allows CT33 battens to be manufactured to suit yachts from multihulls as small as 30ft, up to the largest of superyachts. CT33 battens are available as full length battens (CT33) or leech battens (CT33L).
CT33 battens, luff & leech
Yachts at the smaller end of the range can use a set of battens containing a combination of CT22 and CT33 battens. This helps achieve correct stiffness, particularly over shorter batten lengths.
